The founder of this shelter is Mun Mun iMonday @ Uncle Mun, it is an independent self-funded and no-kill shelter. The shelter was established in May 2013 when Uncle Mun rented a house to provide food and shelter for the rescued furry kids. In 2015, MunMun Furkid Haven was formed and has changed to MunMun Furry Sanctuary on 9th of March, 2019. While in 2017, MPS has issued us a warning to move out from our rented house. Fortunately, thanks to Berjaya Cares for sponsoring the land where we can build a permanent home for our furry kids to stay. Currently, the shelter has 180 doggies and 80 cats in total. Yet, the number continues to grow as there are too many abused and injured furry kids out in the street in need of our help. Aside from rescuing, we are also very active in sterilizing to reduce the strays population. Our main aim is to educate the society the importance of RESPECT, LOVE, and WELFARE of the voiceless.
